This seminar provides the thoughts of Bernard Charles on the importance of innovation of 3D at Dassault Systemes.
For twenty years, the company Dassault Systemes is driven simultaneously by the dream and the belief that industrial revolution is underway. With new development tools and managing the life cycle of products in 3D, the industrial world began its dematerialization, and new rules to share value will be established. This revolution on the design of key products, but more broadly across the industrial system: production, maintenance. Many businesses have taken today, with remarkable results.
About the speaker:
- Bernard Charles (CEO of Dassault Systems)
Joined Dassault Systèmes in 1983 after leading teams of new technologies and established in 1986 a department dedicated to strategy and research, is director of R & D division in 1988 and appointed CEO in 1995, he has upgraded Dassault systems to help companies develop, simulate and optimize the life cycle of their products: development of the architecture of CATIA-CADAM; development of PLM portfolio with the creation of DELMIA, ENOVIA and SMARTEAM, a wider access to 3D with the acquisition of SolidWorks and Space and is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, and still belongs to the faculty of that institution.
