The event, the first of its kind, supported by the Emirates Insurance Association, the Insurance Business Group, Dubai, as well as the London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association, looked at critical issues such as new priorities after the global crisis, the role of the broker today and how it will and should evolve, adapting to the changing landscape, as well as risk management, claims management, and how to engage the brokers and insurers in an effective dialogue.
The theme “The Rise of the New Age Broker in the Middle East Insurance Markets” is a timely one investigating how the evolving landscape will lead to more professionalism within the industry as well as to recognise the important role of the Broker in challenging times today.
The event focused both on insurance and reinsurance brokers in the MENA region, as well as the insurers, regulators, and service providers to the industry.
