Proceedings from the Economic Conference (JEC Paris 2011) focusing on a global composite economy into a growth trajectory.

Demand for more composite applications increases and composite materials are rapidly becoming a mainstream technology and material of choice within many industries and regions. This conference provides a global overview of the composite market: Asia has emerged as the largest regional market in terms of composites shipments and is expected to maintain its leadership helped by the growing economies of China and India, the second fastest growing economy after China, with an annual growth rate of 7-8%. The Brazilian Composite Materials

Association (ABMACO) predicts 3% growth for the composites industry in Brazil in 2010. Russia has once again become a key player in the international arena and Western goods and expertise are in demand. Middle East ambitions include being part of the global Aerospace Supply Chain with the intentions of at least 2 countries to be building their own aircraft within the next 7 years. Stimulus packages in major economies such as the US and China are expected to put the global economy once again into a growth trajectory.

The second part of the conference focused on helping composite organizations optimizing their pricing strategies and processes. Simon-Kucher & Partners, Strategy & Marketing Consultants have implemented new pricing strategies and processes in a number of national and international organizations on a global scale.
