Auroville as a campus and its outstanding experience in sustainable living as a curriculum for learning and personal growth. It is a learning-in-action program connecting core human values, design theory, ideation, and hands-on work around personalized themes.
This program integrates hands-on learning, which is designed and based on the 3H (hands, head and heart) approach, which attempts to actualize participants’ inner strength, to activate critical system thinking and to work on students’ technical capacities of designing and implementing projects.
Students will be working on a compulsory urban agriculture project.
The project will be used as an entry point to learn about technical subjects such as: Sustainable Water Management, Organic Food Production, Ecological Thinking, Renewable Energy Systems, Sustainable Waste Management, Green Architecture. Other activities: Appreciation of the Arts & Culture of Auroville, Theater Games and Awareness Through the Body, Capoeira.
