Distribution and selling conference content such as conference documentation & proceedings including the audio, video, and slides from the speakers.
 
Organizers can subscribe to this service by ticking the box 'I want to distribute my products on Conferensum' at the end of the organizer registration form, or once registered in 'My account" by clicking on 'I'm interested in selling my documentation, proceedings, audio, video from past events on Conferensum'. Conferensum will contact you to explain in more detail how this process works and how you can start monetizing your content at no cost.

2. Free marketing of upcoming events.

Organizers can post business and academic conferences, trade shows, congresses, summits, trade fairs, workshops and webconferences.
 
We provide marketing via our calendar of events by industry or country but also via our event alerts services and RSS Feeds.
 
To add an upcoming event to our calendar of events you first need to register as a event organizer by clicking on 'add upcoming conferences to our list' box placed on most of the pages of our site. You can add as many events as you want for free.

Adding an upcoming event to our list

Q. How do I add a conference/tradeshow to the list?
A. Please Click on the “add upcoming conferences/trade shows to our list” box on the right hand side bar placed on most of the pages of our site.The system will take you a registration page. Once registered you will be able to post as man events as you want. By logging in you will be able to incude and edit your upcoming events.

If you are already registered you just need to log into your account and click on 'Add or edit my upcoming conferences / trade shows / events for free'

A. Adding an upcoming conference/tradeshow to our list is free of charge. If you want to higlight your event by having a banner in the right hand side of pages please contact us.

 

Selling my content on Conferensum

Q. What kind of content can I put for distribution on Conferensum?
A. You decide how much and what to put for distribution. You can put any (or all) of the following content that was produced from your event:
    • Slides from the speakers, Proceedings or any other type of documentation
    • Audio or video from the event

Q. What should be the price of the content I put on Conferensum?

A. You set the price of your documentation/audio/video. If you are already selling the content on your site the price should be the same.

 

Q. I am conference organizer, my business is generated by people attending my conferences. Could this reduce the attendance to my events?

A. From our research and own experience, we believe that the main reason to attend conferences is networking and this probably accounts for 70% or 80% of all reasons. Selling your content on Conferensum will not affect your business but on the contrary,
it is an additional revenue channel at no cost, targeting people that could not attend or knew about your event. People browsing our website or buying your content will know more about your event, its quality and will probably want to attend the following one.
One important advantage of Conferensum is that you can also distribute your content to your participants free of charge and charge the non-participants. Conferensum offers you a free distribution platform.

 

Q. How should I manage copyright and content ownership? What if one of the speakers doesn’t want to have the content on Conferensum?

A. In general, events organizers and speakers assume that the content from speakers (documentation or video) can be sold and the industry practice is to sale the content to non-participants. This is normally done directly by the organizer.
Conferensum is just an additional sales channel and the information for sale on Conferensum is not freely available on the web since customers need to pay to see the content before getting access to it, as your attendees do for your conferences.
In any case, if a speaker or company wishes not to have their presentation/audio/video on Conferensum, you can always withdraw the content, any time, by going to 'my account'.
